Katie Han is an interactive programmer who loves pencil and paper just as much as keyboard and monitor.
She aims to write code that tells stories.
Katie holds a Master’s degree from ITP (Interactive Telecommunications Program) at New York University. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a software engineer at Microsoft in Seattle. She graduated from Brown University in 2017 with honors in computer science.
Katie creates digital experiences that explore intuitive and immersive ways people can interact with technology. Her studies focus on human computer interaction and computer graphics, while her passions include urban spaces, nonlinear storytelling, and filmmaking. She is committed to the practice of ethical technology and spends much of her time contemplating ways to dismantle surveillance capitalism.
